What can I do about a professor that is clearly not qualified for the job?

He curses and is very mean to the students (Ex: I am going to skull-fu** you, tells them they do a shi*ty job even though he never taught them how to do it) He gives them grades according to how he feels about them He gave a mid-term exam from a book he never told them to have

You need to document everything and tape the classes for a period of time before you file your complaint with the Dean. When you file the complaint be specific in your complaint.

I would for sure record his comments. You have to do several because one gives them the opportunity to say, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that and it will never happen again. Tape him several times and he can't get out of it. Have other students who agree with you to be witnesses and sign off on an official... More

You can complain to his dean about him but I would wait until you are no longer in his class. You might try to bring a very small tape recorder to class on several occasions to document how he talks. If what you say is correct, I hope he is fired soon. No one should have to put up with that nonsense.
