Companies dealing with energy?

Hi, I am a masters student in Columbia University, specializing in energy based systems. I have a mechanical Engineering background. I have started looking for a job in related areas. Can you suggest me companies in the US who would be able to use my skills - areas related to renewable energy/ fluid mechanics, CFD / heat transfer.. I know that there are many companies that deal with such areas.. But I am right now collecting the names of such companies, so that I can look them up and apply to them in case I am interested in the stuff they do. (Basically, I'm short of names :).. Hope you can help me out. Thanks!

Westinghouse Electric Company's nuclear side of things is hiring mechanical engineers. There's a lot of fluids, heat transfer, and thermodynamics involved in the plant systems. The nuclear industry in general is actually doing rather well, but Westinghouse is a good place to work.

I know someone who got his Masters in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the Coast Guard because the job market sucks now. Hope you have better luck.
