What is the distance from kits, vancouver to Richmond?

Hiya my partner and I are moving to vancouver and we were thinking of living in Kitsilano but my partners job is in Richmond. Does any one know how long on average it would take him to get to work every day? Cheers

You may want to consider the Steveston area of Richmond, rather than Kits, if you dont want to fight traffic. Steveston is a a fishing village rigth on the Fraser River, where it opens into the Pacific Ocean. It has tons of cool shops, restaurants, a fishermans wharf, etc etc.

it is approximately 20 minutes drive by car. Or a bit under 10 miles.

There is a third bridge, the Knight Street Bridge which is terrible at the best of times. Going into Richmond in the morning should be OK as the... More

Good choice. The heavy traffic is usually going the other way, from Richmond into Vancouver. How long it will take him to get to work depends a bit on where in Richmond, it's a large area, but I'd say half an hour or a bit more. Driving, that is. Public transit could take a lot longer.

I did the commute from Richmond into Vancouver for years, it took about 30-40 minutes in the morning. The traffic coming the other way (down Granville to the Arthur Laing Bridge) was next to nothing, so I would guess the trip from Kitsilano would take less than 20 minutes in the morning.
