I am trying to up date my resume, but there is a problem in that I do not remember dates ?

Also some places no longer exist and I was stupid and did not keep accurate record of my work history. I want to get a really good job, but need this for my resume. Also how to get old addresses of the places I lived.

talk to your friends and relatives, my grandmother has all of my addresses for the last 10 years, you also my be able to contact social security or the IRS, employers and you would have had to give them information, not sure if they can retrieve it for you but is worth a shot if all else fails, good luck

Regardless of the status of the company you worked for, you were still employed - your resume is a snap shot of you and not the companies you reference. City and state will suffice and use only years (2001-2008) as specific months can confuse the reader with trying to determine if there were any gaps - also gaps are... More
