As CEO of the largest recipient of tax-payer money, shouldn't Obama limit his pay to $500K?
Obama is livid about corporations that are given tax-payer dollars to keep them afloat and then turn around and pay their CEOs over $500K per year. He also finds the purchase of new corporate aircraft, etc. as being unacceptable. I agree! However, let's make it universal. Cut the US government CEO's pay to $500K! Ban the purchase and use of new US government aircraft! Do all this until the US government starts to break even!

The president makes a lot more than 400k when you include all the perks like several high tech private jets, several helicopters, several armored cars, security personnel, a mansion to live in, private schooling for his children, etc... More

Sure, but that would be giving him a rasie as he makes $400,000

Obama makes $400,000 a year. Sounds like it is already where you think it should be. Additionally, the president can not change the salary paid to the president.

The president already earns less than $500k per year.

Approved! he makes $400,000.00 ban the purchase of new US government aircraft and cars and boats. The biggest spender is the military!

Whatever we pay him I have no problem with it. We paid bush and all he did (amongst a plethora of other questionable actions) was to sink this country into financial ruin. Let's not blame Obama for the misdeeds of the former whores of government.

His pay is 400K a year, with no bonus. Personally, I think he deserves Hazardous pay, from all the flack he gets.

No. $400,000 is already considerably less than that isn't it? And honestly, would you want to do his job for less? Especially with the mess he is going to try and clean up?

I totally agree with you... Congress already gave him, as well as themselves, a $60,000 raise! Where will it end? Did they share any of it with people with their hands out looking for a stimulus (lazy) check?
