Republicans, how do you feel about the job growth bill?

Do you find the tax cuts for the middle class a good idea? Do you feel that this is President Obama meeting in the middle? (tax cuts that stimulate jobs combined with spending for shovel ready projects) Your thoughts? If not then what would you propose in its place? someone said raise taxes? there is not one line in the bill that does this. Other points are valid, but this one is not true. love the idea of a flat tax system actually, but unfortunately it has been unbalanced and oscillating back and forth, this time it needs to go the other direction for a little while before a flat tax would be acceptable.some people have slipped through the cracks so we need to help then get back on their feet so they can start making money for there economy again. or do we leave them because they are failures and should die? socialism is never good someone said eh? Well first of all the bill is not something that would be normal had we not been in this mess, and I don't think any these things are ongoing expenditures, just one timers. But to say socialism is bad is a lie, if it was then we should get rid of the socialized fire department service or the police service. Both are socialized government paid for entities that happen to be thought of as "necessary" for the decency of humanity to be offered these services for free.

First of all it will grow jobs not at all. You must give businesses a reason to hire and this bill does nothing to address that. Secondly, tax cuts for tax payers is good, tax gifts to non-tax payers is called Welfare and not a Stimulus to anything but more Welfare payments. Thirdly, Obama has moved very little. He... More

You are mistaken. What we have is not a job growth bill, but a Porkulus Package. I propose the tax cuts, and cut everything else out of the bill. A teaspoon of sugar helps the medicine go down. That damned RINO, President Bush, got us started on this. Never could have happened had Mr. Newt been on the floor.
