What can I do as an American to help contribute to fix our economy?

We can't just depend on our governments, we have responsibilities as well, but I'm looking for specific and simple things I could do to help out. (besides the obvious paying taxes and all) I'm scared I might lose my job i need it for college. woah woah slow down with the answers i can only take so many lol

Learn how to be a Cobbler or Blacksmith so you will be a benefit to your Lil' House on The Prairie community. Do back and arm exercises for transporting that well water to your house. you can make little difference in the US economy but you can have a huge effect on your own. live well below your means. have an emergency fund. stay out of heavily on a tax differed retirement acct. Vote for fiscally responsible leaders,if any ever run for office.

tell your congressman to abolish the federal reserve, eliminate income taxes, and reduce government. ie: get Ron Paul elected.
