questions about a parisian travel experience?
i am 23, i am wanting to go to paris. i haven wanted to for years now. so here is the advice i'm asking: what are hte must see,s do's for a first time traveller to paris? how long to stay, where? ( cheap remember i'm 23 so without sacrificing quality and putting me in a hostel or pension, how about a hotel under 100 dollars a night? or how about living iwht ahost family would taht be possible? how about studying french at the sorbonne? where can you eat cheap in paris ( preferrably under 10 dollars a meal )? study abroad programs? i'm thinking this summer, people merci beaucoup

I loved Paris. You can find many cheap hotels or even a Bed & Breakfast which I felt was better as the owners who rented the rooms was able to tell us where to go and sometimes we had the best conversations, breakfast included. Check for hotels in the 18th. It's very quaint, safe and cheap. Just a short metro ride to anywhere you want to go. And there are so many cheap food stands on the street that you never need to go into a restaurant to pay for a sit down meal. Maybe check out a Rick Steve's book, I like to travel with those.
