Do you yell at the waiters and waitresses when you eat at a restaurant?
Last night I went out to dinner with most of my dad's family. There was 16 of us at a table. When the waitresses took our orders, they asked us what dressing would we like on our salads. Then they served like 5 of us with salads, and we all ordered salads. Then the waitresses told us that they ran out of lettuce. A couple of us started yelling at the 2 waitresses we had.. I wonder what they would do if they had enough salad for everyone at the table except for 1 person. Haha. I work in retail and I always get yelled at by costumers and by some of my co-workers..everybody get's yelled at sometime in their lives for something.

It would have been better if they had let you know in advance that there was not enough lettuce for everyone at the table to have a salad. It strikes me as odd that a restaurant would run out. I would not yell at the servers because they are just doing their job. They may not have been aware before hand that they did... More

I suppose they would tell you if they didn't have enough salad, but well mannered folks don't yell at servers in a restaurant....for any reason....

Don't yell at the wait staff until after you have finished your meal. If you do it before they are going to spit in your food and give you crappy service.

haha that's funny i can't picture a restaurant running out of lettuce but it still doesn't give you the right to yell to a waiter

That's awful that you yelled at the waitresses. As if they have control over the fact that they ran out of lettuce! You should be ashamed of yourself. The only people you yell at are your peers. NEVER yell at people who can't yell back. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Well, the waitresses were pretty stupid. If they didn't have enough lettuce, they shouldnt have brought only 5 salads. Thats just stupid. One of them could've come back to the table, apologized because their was no lettuce and offered to bring another appetizer like soup instead. That way everyone could have something... More

you guys are rude. thats not a yelling offense. I would only yell if they purposely did something bad. like spit in my food. Which usually only comes when customers are jerks. You showed lower class by this. Good Day.

No, actually, I don't yell at the wait staff of a restaurant for pretty much any reason short of them trying to physically hurt me. Its not worth it. You only come across as a moron (no offense... More
