i think general motor's makes more reliable trucks. the newer chevy trucks look nicer than the ford f-150 in my opinion and are much easier to work on, not to mention a lot cheaper to fix.

The F-150 is the better truck over all. car and driver magazine still rates as the best selling truck in America. I personally owned 5 over 15 yrs and it was the best truck i ever owned. My last one had 276,000 miles on it.

Chevy Silverado. I am not a big fan of American cars, but I have driven the F-150 and Silverado. Old and New. The Silverado drives better. Plus, Car & Driver, J.D. Power & Associates, Motorweek, and some other car magazines all said the Chevy is the better trucks when they compared it with the F-150.

You know a Ford Ranger is a re-badged Mazda...right??? Chevy Silverado is a far better truck, I would test drive both, but for power and reliability the folks who know pick Chevy.
