How can I put plastic in my drivers side window with no frame?

My drivers side window broke and it is going to cost TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS to fix it! I don't have a frame going around the door so my window is permanently down and it's cold outside! I don't know how to solve this and still be able to open my door! Please help! Thanks for the answers guys! I'm gonna be climbing out the passenger door for a while looks like! And Dr. Layne thanks for the suggestion buddy, now can I borrow $250 from you?

If it's a frameless window....get some plastic(clear) tape it over window and along roof top so the gap is sealed(use duct/gaffa/racing/100mph) Then keep door closed.. ENTER and EXIT thru the passengers door

Putting plastic there isn't going to help. You won't be able to see out of the window (or lack there of) very well. It will impair your ability to drive. $250 vs causing an accident and possibly killing someone and/or yourself. I think you should borrow the $250 from a family member or a friend.
