What are some good jobs that pay well during this economic slow down?

What jobs can a 25 year old with retail experience get during these tough times. I do not have a degree, but look professional and know how to sell.

With retail experience you could easily get a job as a hotel sales or catering manager. Entry level jobs pay 40-60K and retail sales people can transfer their job skills over. Food Service Grocery Stores (people always need food) Retirement Homes Hospitals You might have to take some entry level jobs, but eventually our economy will come around. A Degree would help though.

you need to do something which u know is not going to go bust, like heating n plumbing, trade shops selling these kind of things in a warehouse, everyone needs central heating, plumers etc? or go in for corgi training, they wont go bust, crying out for them

I saw on some news show that bartending is booming. Apparently, the worse the economy the more people drink. You might have to go to bartender's school.
