How do I write a letter to a person's supervisor to compliment their work?
There is someone at a company that helped me enormously. Rather than just thank them, I'd like their boss to also know what a great job they're doing. What should I include and how do I phrase it in a way that shows appreciation and is still professional?

Include the person's name and a description as to why you felt that this person went beyond the call of duty.

I agree with mislabeled...it is very nice of you to take the time to acknowledge the good service you received, many people never do.

It does not have to be a long letter, often a note will suffice. If you know the names of the people who assisted you, include that. Explain the scenario and what they did that impressed you. If it was just general good service, say that.
