Should America make car buyers purchase only American owned, made and manufactured automobiles?

My problem with the bail out is that it won't end if nobody is going to buy the cars. I don't want to see 3 million people lose jobs, nor do I want to see the government continue to pump money into something that isn't going to succeed. You comments please?

America should make American car manufacturers build comperable cars and lower the price (no import taxes), also make them stop using Canada, Mexico and others to build parts and components, then when they are dependable, affordable and truely American built, Americans will without a doubt buy them
