How much does an ac accumaltor run?

I have a neighbor who found one for me for my 3ton ac unit but Iam curious to know how much they normally run, i dont want to be getting ripped off is all...thanks

I am wondering why you need to change it out? If the unit is that old replace it. By the time you pay for installation of a new accumulator and freon you might as well get a new unit.
