I have a job and I make a decent wage but I can't afford medical insurance?

I and many others like me fall through the cracks. We don't qualify for any sort of government assisted health care. I guess I could sit on my butt watching TV, eating bon bon's, and give birth to a massive number of children so I can live off government assistance and receive free health care thanks to tax payers. So my question is....How is Obama's bail out plan and stimulus package gonna help me?

I say exactly.........many many many people are in your shoes. I wanted to see affordable health care. They need to make the drug industries less profitable and the insurance companies. They have more money than God. Seeing how Obama is spending our money on social programs for people who do not work adding to... More

You need to hurry up and have a big bunch of embryos implanted in you right now. Then you can file for bankruptcy, sell your story, buy a big house, and your worries will be over. It is the American dream. Don't forget the lip injections.

I don't know what President Obama is going to do for you, but I assume you are going to continue to work hard, improve your conditions and eventually reach the point where you can take care of yourself and your family. That is what Americans do. Good luck!

Why cant you afford it if you make decent money? I pay $300 a month for Blue Cross & I am 52. Maybe you could afford it if you got your priorities straight.

The perfect example of why we need national health care. Mitt Romney, THE REPUBLICAN, mandated it in MA. and it is a savior for people like you and others who are in the same situation. It's not free btw, it's affordable and the premiums are based on your income.

Sounds like you're for universal health care, a separate issue from the bail out/stimulus, but an important issue nonetheless. If you make a decent wage and you still can't afford health care, it sounds like the Repug way isn't working for you. Welcome back to the light side of the Force.

Get your greedy Capitalist boss to provide you with some benefits instead of taking all the money for himself. He pays you less than 25% of what you make for him. Demand what's yours.

Surprise, surprise... the Obama's bail out plan and stimulus will not help people like you and me, nor anyone else who has a job and pays their bills on time.

I don't think you meant to but you have pointed out a problem with the all-or-nothing system we have. Make ten bucks an hour and you get help, work hard to make ten oh five and you're broke. Same thing happened with work-to-welfare, you get child care help while in school then you get a job, no help at all with child... More
