What careers are available to someone with a degree in chemistry?

I am currently a junior in highschool. I hope to one day enter medical school and become a doctor. I know however that a small percentage of those who apply to medical school actually get accepted. Therefore i would like to have a back up plan incase i dont get in. What can someone do in life with a degree in chemistry? Cana nybody be more specific? A list of possibilities maybe.
