What are some good jobs that work with dogs?

I need to know about some jobs with dogs. I love dogs and would like to work with them something that pays good and that is NOT a vet i cant stand putting animals to sleep. Well anyways please help!! Thanks!

You could be a seeing eye dog trainner, a breeder, someone who trians dogs for the police, or a dog walker.

What about The Humane Society or agencies that take care of abandoned animals? Pet shops (Grooming service or adoption center)? Dog walker? That's all that comes to mind...

Get a job at a kennel. Walk dogs, pick up tons of poop, bathe them, carry huge bags of dog food around... Fun times.

Dog walker, dog trainer, animal conservational officer (aka: animal cop), volunteer at animal shelter, or you could start an animal rescue. ;)

U.S. Customs employs people as dog handlers to enforce the customs rules at airports and other points of entry. Police have K9 partners, but you would go through police training first. Same thing for accelerant detection dogs for the fire department. The other jobs I can think of offhand don't pay well -

You sound exactly like me! So I'm considering, being a police dog handler, opening a shelter, training or helping people with health problems or who have been in accidents ect with the use of dogs (if that makes sense?) If you get any good ones, let me know :)
