What do you think of a guy nurse?

Im an 18 year old guy who is thinking in becoming a registered nurse. But "Nurse" sound more like a job for a girl and i dont want people to start calling me names. So do you think nursing is a good job for a man.

Don't let what other people think or say keep you from pursuing your goals!!!! I think guy nurses are needed in the field. The nursing field needs some!!! this is the 21st century and people don't think like you anymore. if a "person" wants to work as an RN, the "person" gets an education and finds the job.

i say go for it. having male nurses is a breath of fresh air. male nurses are get just as much respect as female nurse.

I am a female nurse and honestly don't know enough male is a wonderful thing. If women can do men's jobs why can't a male be a nurse?? Go For it!
