Please need help and advice in Millitary career ( RAF and Royal marine commandos)?

Hello there i will get straight to the point. Im 17 in 1st year in college. I want to join the RAF to become a Fighter pilot, ive been in the ATC for 3 months but left due to problems, im fit and active person. I have started doing flying lessons in the channel islands and ive been told im a naturally talented pilot and i believe that too. Its been my dream since a kid to become a fighter pilot. The problem is I haven't done Psychics and maths A level. I got a GCSE's C in maths and Science in school. I'm half spanish so im fluent in it i have a GCSE A* which is an attribute. Ive also been in a couple of private schools which most RAF career interviews would like. Im not sure should i join the back with the Air cadets? should i join the royal marine commandos then a few years after apply to become a fighter pilot? I also need advice what could improve my chances to become a RAF pilot. Please be straightly forward honest on my chance to getting in. And thank you for your time for reading this and have a good day. Rgs C.Wallhead

Straight forward and honest answer, is to go to the nearest service carears office, get all the literature, talk to one of the recruitment officers and come away with the FACTS. Make your decision on that!

I agree with the post above. Speak to a professional RAF recruiter any other information you get would just be speculation I can tell you though, that to transfer from Service to Service such as RN/M to RAF is a very difficult and drawn out procedure

If you want to be a pilot, then you need to apply to either the RAF or the RN soonest. If you go off and become a Royal Marine then you will probably end up missing the cut-off age for becoming a fast jet pilot.
