What do i settings do i put my Alpine MRD-1000 amp at?

herein lies my question....i am running 2 Alpine Type R 2ohm dual voice coil 10 inch subwoofers in a ported box with an Alpine class D 1000 watt amplifier...what do i set my gain,bass boost,and low pass filter at...the subs spec frequencey is 24Hz-600Khz and my amp goes from 24hz-200hz im guessing...not only what should i set them at but what exactly does the gain and low pass filter do....ive searched and come up with answers that i am unfortunately not smart enough to undersand...any information would be greatly appreciated

The gain is set to the pre amp voltage of your stereo, if you have 4 volt pre amp outs, then set your amps gain to 4 volts. The gain is NOT a volume control at all.
