what job experiance do i need in order to be a fine artist?

What education, job experience or skills do I need in order to become an artist? Wow dave, you really gave me a whole lot of inspiration. I never would have thought to look into buiseness. I do love traveling and i want to live in a motorhome so that will work out fine. I also have a passion for anime.

You don't need school to be an artist. It can help and it can be fun, because it can force you to work and it will surround you with like-minded people, (if you are lucky). You need a BFA or associates degree from any arts school in order to be hired by a company, but many artists never go to school, they just do what they love and become well known because other people appreciated their work.
