h*********u handling the stress of job search and layoffs?

I decided to not job-hunt right after I was laid off. Now that I'm looking I realize that there are practically no positions for my level of qualifications (marketing/sales management) and I am either over-qualified for most (coordinators) or under-qualified (directors, etc). So needless to say, I'm stressing... How are you handling this all?

Why don't you take off a few things on your resume that over-qualify you? Being "over-qualified" = they don't want to pay you as much, but if you need a job I think it's best to take the hit in pay for now... More

You lower your sights. That will increase your chance of success. Apply to work at a hotel job but keep your goal to become a manager as soon as possible..
