Whats the point of having Kane as a heel?

I mean he got the biggest pop yesterday on ECW and he never gets booed anymore. If he didn't face faces then someone who is new to WWE would never guess his a heel. If he wins MITB he is basically a new champion and that is a perfect oppurtunity to get him pushed again and stop jobbing to people half his size.

i know yer the wwe continually try to get him over as a heel, for instance against rey myserio, kof kingston and being in tag matches with his partners ranging from mike knox to dolph ziggler lol, kane needs to be facing JBL for his intercontinental title, would anyone else like to see Kane being IC champ?

The thing with Kane is he has gone to Vince and the creative team and stressed that he does not see the need for him to get a big push, he wants to help the younger guys move up know. He sees his role in the WWE as one that helps move the younger talent along, and he knows that a match against Kane is a big thing.

Whats the point of having Kane at all? WWE ruined his character. Kane was my favorite superstar of the 90's and that was long ago. I understand he might be trying to help out the younger talent but what about the Big Red Machine?
