Shattered Dreams: What do I do now?

I have a degree in aviation, a Commercial license, a Multi-IFR, and halfway to instructor rating. Well... turns out I may have tourettes... No not the scream out obscenities kind, my condition is much more subtle. So subtle in fact that it had remained pretty well hidden until recently... I will certainly be applying to go through any process necessary to maintain my medical... but I'm being realistic that if it doesn't work, I now need a back-up... does anyone have suggestions for someone who has always dreamed of being a pilot but no longer can? I was thinking ATC, then buy my own private plane to fly around. Would work well with the aviation degree, pay is decent, and I kind of get to be around airplanes. What else is out there?

If I were you, do all you can to keep your medical. Now I don't know if this is disqualifying you from a medical altogether or just a... More
