When at a job interview, which questions are appropriate?

I have a horrible job right now, and I've been applying for new jobs, i have an interview coming up, and my main concern is the pay, is it inproper to ask about compensation on a job interview when they ask you if you have any questions?

Most times it is not correct to discuss in the first interview, but if they offer you the job, it is then ok to ask if they don't tell you. I don't think it is improper to talk about compensation when they ask if you any questions. Without knowing this how will you feel that you are going to feel satisfied with the new job. Do not hesitate and ask in a nice way. You may also ask some other questions with the question related to compensation like details... More

No. It is not improper to ask about pay on a job interview; however you should come with a reasonable number in mind. Sometimes an employer will ask you what your salary requirements are, so you should probably do some research on the average pay amounts for the type of job you're seeking at your level of experience...
