Why are there so many shootings and killings in America all the time?

It's like every week, a new shooting, a new killing, a new scandal. America seems to have something going on around the clock. What's up with all of this? Why all the anger and psychosis?

people stopped caring about other people. I think were so used to all the violence and it's really sad. it's like some one in your family dies and it's tragic, but if you see it on the news it's just another headline.
