How much do secretaries get paid?

I'm currently trying to decide what I want to do with my life. I've always enjoyed typing, organizing, filing and all that jazz, so a secretarial job sounds like it'd be good for me. But I'm curious as to how much I would get payed doing a job like that. If you can give me a range from lowest possible, like an inexperienced person just getting into the field, to highest possible, like a top of the line legal secretary, it would be greatly appreciated ^^ Let's say this is in Seattle, Washington

Salary ranges really depend on what part of the country you are in, as salaries are driven by the local economy and cost of living.
