I would feel upset, but like another person said, there are more truck driving jobs out there. Your husband has a career on which the majority of people need him. We will always need goods transported. Keep your head up, and just get his resume out there. He will find something I am sure. Good luck to you!

It's a horrible feeling.Much worse for the man. Treat him with kid gloves and try not to pressure him about finding another job.

My husband has been out of work since November 08. I'll tell you what you do. First he applies for unemployment today so his benefits can start coming as soon as possible. Then you and him start looking for work. You may have to accept something that you won't like for now at least until this economy turns around... More

My hubby is a truck driver, and didn't have a job for 2 months. I hung in there, and not complain. He has now found a job. Thank goodness. I had cut back on a lot of things, including cable, which he loves the most. Just give him his space to find a job. Help him out on the internet, I did. Just be careful with these... More

Hug that man and tell him and let him know it will be alright. Run him a bubble bath and massage him. He is taking it really hard believe me.

If you really love him and he you yall will make it. just cut back on stuff you really don't need. you might need to get a job and he might have to get one with less pay. everyone is going through the same thing right now with the economy the way it is.

At first, I panicked. I couldn't help it. We were already struggling due to the economy. It's been 1 1/2 yrs since & he still hasn't been able to find a job. We rely on my income alone.
