What Watt amp would i need for 2x 400w omnitronic speakers? Hello all..... the question has already been asked in detail i guess so all i can say is thankyou in advance..... and please only answer this if you havve real experiance with sound systems. oh i guess i should add that i know i need a powered amp all im asking is at what WATT do i need my amp to be. rule of thumb, your amp RMS power rating should be double the speaker capacity to avoid distortion and blown speakers later, Yeah, I know it sounds backwards from what I used to believe... More
