Do you think that woman are purposely kept out of political jobs or are they just not as interested in the it?

In my sociology class we were talking about women in society and how they as a whole don't get paid as much as men... but its not all about being sexism, its also about the kinds of jobs that men and women are interested in and more male-type jobs pay more then female-type jobs. After class friends and I were talking about people in politics and I made the connection of the number of women vs men in political fields but none of us could really come up with a number of males vs females in politics let alone whether there weren't as many females because of sexism or because as a whole they are just not as interested in the fields. sorry... first "sexism" should be "sexist" trying to watch the news and type at the same time =P

Clinton and Palin were both running for high office. Pelosi is speaker of the house (2 heartbeats from becoming president.) Women are not beng discriminated against. Palin will be the first woman president. Women in the SAME jobs get paid the same.

They should be more interested in it! According to my limited research into psychology and body language, women use both sides of their brains while men only use one. That means women are smarter and able to process more information at once than men. I am a man and have no problem admitting it. It is sexist to single... More

Take a look at Bohemian Grove - the world's elite men of power spend ever summer together. No women allowed. It's because our entire world is run by the Illuminati/Freemasons, which have strict guidelines going back for generations, fathers and sons sharing the same bloodlines, inheriting power and status.
