Has anybody actually had a job as a mystery shopper?

I thought about applying for that job, but I hear it's a big scam. Can anybody tell me for sure if it's legit? Or mystery shopping experience?

It is one of the worst of the scams. No company actually hires mystery shoppers. But every person in the world is attracted to the idea of getting paid to "shop". I actually did do it for a short time. It was fun. I dont remember the name of the company. At that time it didnt really pay enough to be worth it.I did get to keep anything I bought and I was reimbursed for it and for mileage.

they'll pay you but you end up spending your entire paycheck and then some, it's not worth it

My sister did it for a bit, she got to mystery shop movie theatres and such, they would give her an alloted amount to spend and of course what she was suppose to buy never covered all of it so she always lost money but it was fun = )
