What is a Transitional Employee for USPS?

I applied for a position as City Carrier transitional employee about 2 month ago. Well today I got a letter in the mail saying that I need to report to my local post office for an interview. I realize they will probably tell me most of this at the interview but if anyone could give me a heads up I would appreciate it. Thanks

They will ask if you like to walk a lot and how many sick days you used in the past year. They want to know your 10 year print our from DMV. If you dont bring that you wont get interview. Once you pass interview, they will take your p*e and do a drug test. If you pass they will let you know where to go.
