Is it hard to get jobs in Medical Assistant and in Medical Billing?

It seems as though it very difficult to find jobs in these fields. Since these jobs are so hard to get should i just become a CNA instead?Although cna is something that i really do not want to do, i seem to can't find employment doing anything else so feel like cna is my only other option and really need a job.
