What is your solution to the credit crunch?

Just wondering what you would do, if you had the chance, to fix the economy. Is there even a solution?

We need less debt, not more debt. For several years we as a society and as a nation (meaning government) have been spending money we don't have and using debt to cover it. Now it has caught up with us. The solution is to change our mindset and start living within our means again... More

Track down and verify the individuals or groups responsible then execute them on national television (Politicians would be included of course.). China did this and I believe it makes one think more than once about doing anything underhanded.

no quick fix to the economy. and when it gets fixed, it'll happen again. i htink the best way to handle these cycles is preparation and a little more thrift. everyone wants to 'one-up' their neighbor but if you live within your means, spend less than you earn but do spend, and plan ahead you could end up in a better... More
