Weed Killer? Is there a weed killer that will kill weeds and grass but not plants so I can replant?

I'm looking for a killer that will kill weeds and bermuda grass that has gotten into my plants, but not kill the plants themselves. Also one that will not prevent me from planting more flowers.

I don't know of any single product that does both jobs. Ortho WeedBGon will kill the weeds but will also kill the plants but it won't kill the grass. Preen will kill the weeds and not harm the plants and you can plant more flowers. The only way to get rid of the bermuda grass is either pull it up by hand or use use... More

If you are thinking of planting more plants before you do so I would lift all the old plants out put to one side. Then dig all the weeds and rubbish out, buy some bags of top soil an compost reform your plant bed and replant and mulch around your plants and well water in--good luck

As everyone has stated all weed killers also kill our much loved plants and perennials. I use a 5 gallon pail, yogurt container, or such to cover plants as I spray around my flower beds. Then all that is needed to do is to remove the weeds that closely surround the plants. Happy gardening.
