What is the maximum number of hours you can work - daily?
My partner started work at 7am yesterday morning, at 8:30pm his manager left telling the rest of the staff to leave & leave my partner to it. If he had stayed to complete all the jobs he would not have finished work until 11pm - as he was too tired he finished at 9:30pm. He is now worried that he'll be disciplined because he did not finish all the jobs - can this happen? He had already worked a 14.5 hour shift - surely this isn't legal?

If your partner would have had an accident because he was tired, he could have filed workmens comp. because it would have been job related... More
