Do Electronics Engineering Technicians do much math in their jobs?

I'm currently doing the HSC in high school and I'm interested in becoming an Electronics Engineering Technician. I'm interested in the amount of mathematics they have to do in their jobs; I imagine the qualified Engineers would do that? The subjects I do are: General Maths Standard English Business Studies Earth & Environmental Science Biology I also hear it's possible to become a qualified Electronics Engineer at one stage in your career path if you become an Electronics Engineering Technician.
