What places should I keep my eye open to look for a job.?

Since the economy is very bad, I was wondering what places should I keep my eye open for a receptionist/administrative assistant job. Like should I look into schools, hospitals, or what? Also, please don't give me links about working from home. I know those things are scams.

Well, just because they post an ad looking for people doesn't mean they'll reply to you. I've applied for about 50 clerical jobs and never got a reply.
