Does anyone know about Fircroft College in Birmingham?

I'm doing an Access to HE course in September at Manchester College, but accidentally came across this college offering the same course, and it seems like a really good opportunity. I know it's a residential college, and for over-19s, but what appeals to me is the fact that the bursary I would receive would cover my accommodation costs and meals, meaning for that year, I can study in a stress-free environment and focus 100% on my course. Part of me is naturally sceptical about this, due it sounding too good to be true, and the culture shock that I would initially have. Does anyone know anything about this college? Their Access to HE course is their only course of any real worth, but I know they've recently been graded as outstanding by Ofsted - is that a guarantee I'd get quality teaching and support? Anyway, I'll wrap this up - if you were me, would you stick with Manchester, continue to pay rent where you live and keep a part-time job, or would you take a risk by moving to another city, but have less money worries and have more time to focus on the course, but on the downside, risking feeling isolated if I don't gel with the tiny group of people I'll be living with? Thanks!
