What do americans think about Ireland?

Hey I was just wondering what you all think about Ireland.. What you think about the Irish.... And also if you were to describe Ireland how would you do it ..... Im irish myself and just wanted to know what exactly you think about the way Ireland is , as in any Movie that I have ever seen Ireland was shown as a little town surrounded by tones of fields

I know there are parts of Ireland that are big cities like Galway and such, but mostly I think of country with emerald green hills and the Blarney Stone, honestly.

Personally, I don't really know any facts about it. I picture it as absolutely beautiful. I love Celtic music (One of my favorite songs is Be Thou My Vision) and have watched river dances and such (which amaze me!). I like Ireland, my family emigrated from there and I still have relatives there. It's a nice friendly place for the most part, very relaxed in feeing. I like both the towns and the cities. I've been all over the island, up to the North and throughout the Republic, and had a decent time all round... More
