How is the job prospect for biomedical engineers?

I am currently a high school senior and I am planning on attending Ohio State, and majoring in biomedical engineering. I was wondering whether biomedical engineering has a good job prospect over the next 5 to 10 years. Also do most biomedical engineers complete graduate school prior to entering the job market? Does anyone know if Ohio State's biomedical engineering program is prestigious, because it is a new major, yet I am unsure whether it is prestigious.
