How to prevent car dings and dents from careless people?

I live in an apartment complex where we park next to people. This is the only time my car is parked next to someone other times I'm in a safe spot at my job. I've noticed two small dents and have even seen my neighbor with her door WIDE open just getting something. I haven't seen her actually hit it but I know it's her because the paint color.. What can I do to prevent this??? :(

Try changing your parking strategy. Don't park next to two-door cars, because their doors are much longer and open wider than those on four-door vehicles. There really isn't much you can do, unless you want to confront her about it. The good part is you can have small dents and dings popped out for under $100.
