How hard is it to find a dental assistant job right after you finish school?

Im about to finish dental assistant school and is wondering how hard is it going to be to find a job after im done.

Trying to find a job as a dental assistant is more competitive than one might think. An experienced assistant can find a job rather easily, however like you stated in your question you will be a recent graduate. this has definite pros, in my states there is no special training required to become a dental assistant, and... Most areas of the country are looking for dental assistants. You should be starting to look in newspapers and making applications at different dental offices. I wish you good luck.

No worries. You can always check online to view jobs. Or in the newspaper. Since the economy was a disaster my mom went looking for jobs. I tried to help and i did. i went to and as soon as up to three through five days my mom has found a job. I hope you can find a dental assistant career... More

harder if you live in a small community. easier if you live in or near a bigger city and if you are willing to maintain a job..
