Stimulus? I live in one that received stimulus money and is half a billion in the hole?8 million spent on Parks for so called shovel ready jobs,yet the streets all have potholes deep enough to drown a skunk.Can you believe instead of fixing the roads they have they are discussing adding 300 new miles to I -95.

It doesn't matter how much money we give our Government, they will always spend it. They could tax us at 50 percent but would blow all the money. I know nobody likes to admit it, but John McCain was on to something when he spoke about fiscal responsibility.

Here in Nevada we're about 1.2 billion short on our 2 year 2008-2009 budget. Some say the shortfall in 2010-2011 could be as high as 3 billion. Occupancy rates on 'The Strip' are way down, as is gaming revenue. I think we lead the nation, or are at least in the top 3, of states whose shortfall is the largest percentage... More
