Do i really need to turn in a resume for a summer job?

I'm applying at a small town casino. Do I really need a resume? I don't have any previous work experience nor things to brag about from high school. I feel as though if I do turn in a resume I wouldn't get the job because they would see me as way too serious for someone looking for a part-time maintenance job. If I do, can someone point me in the right direction for making one?

I'm not sure why you would get the impression that it would make you look too serious.....are you worried that the things you'd put on the resume would be too serious of a person or are you worried that you will look like you are taking a part-time maintenance job too seriously... More

Depends on the job. Most places will tell you if you need a resume or application. It is good to have one available in case they ask for it. If you need assistance you can get help writing a resume from your local state run career center and it will not cost you anything.

you will at least have to fill out an entire application and wind up listing most of the same info that is on your resume anyway
