Whats wrong with my computer?
well this is what happened. i found out i got a virus so i used windows live one care to get rid of it. it said it rempved it or quaritined it, i can't remeber but one of the two, then it asked me to restart my computer in order for the changes to take affect which i did. then as it was rebooting it showed that one screen where it says windows xp and a little blue loading bar comes up, but then it just blacks out and nothing happens. the screen just stays black. any advice or suggestions please.

Try entering via Safe mode and check if the same thing occurs. If not, use the System Restore option to restore the last best configuration you have. PS: Install a decent anti-virus program to prevent future virus problems.

Try booting in safe mode. If you are successful then scan your antivirus while in safe mode . When finished reboot in normal mode
