Can you help me identify this turtle?
We live in South carolina, if this helps, and my mom found this turtle in our driveway while walking our dog. It's very tiny, only about an inch or inch 1/2 long, and I think it's a baby turtle, because it's breastplate is still soft and squishy, not hard like a bone. It has a dark colored shell with a dark colored body, and it has a small ridge down the middle of its back. Hopefully, these pictures help :P Also, please try to give specific instructions and details on how to take care of one, like if they need to be completely submersed in water or just have water available, etc. http://s191.photobucket.com/albums/z199/MissJessicaRoberts/?action=view¤t=100_2126.jpg http://s191.photobucket.com/albums/z199/MissJessicaRoberts/?action=view¤t=100_2127.jpg http://s191.photobucket.com/albums/z199/MissJessicaRoberts/?action=view¤t=100_2128.jpg http://s191.photobucket.com/albums/z199/MissJessicaRoberts/?action=view¤t=100_2129.jpg http://s191.photobucket.com/albums/z199/MissJessicaRoberts/?action=view¤t=100_2125.jpg There is a picture in there that is a pretty good pic. I think it's the one that's simply labeled 'turtle'.
