I have purchased an 46inch samsung 550 LCD and picture quality is noticable blurred.?

The picture quality on my LCD TV is blurred , even watching LCD TV is worse than my normal CRT TV that i still have with me. Is there any solution to it or we will have to watch cable TV like this always on the big screen LCD TV. Any ssugestion??

It depends what you're feeding it. LCDs can be great for some stuff, but don't do a great job with other stuff. Its just part of this whole transition from old standards into new ones. There's not a whole lot you can do about it... More

Do you have a Cable Box? Is it an HD Cable Box, without a HD cable box it most likely will look pretty blurry. (Especially if you are connected with Yellow White And Red AV Cables) If you are connected directly to the cable, see if you are on a HD channel or not. if your using a non HD receiver from your provider, use the s-video and red/white audio connections. It will help a little. You can use a uhf antenna, connected to the rf input to watch free over the air HD content from your local networks... More
