Are there trucking companies that let you drive OTR solo with no driving experience?

I heard that while gaining experience with OTR, new drivers are often required to team drive with a more experienced driver. I'm all for learning and team playing and what not, but two weeks in the cab with a complete stranger seems a little cramped. Note: I thought I should clarify, I'm talking about coming in with a license from a school, not taking the company training program.

Fresh out of truck school you will be hard pressed to find a company that will just hand you the keys. Everyone I know of has to go OTR with a trainer. You'll have to just suck it up and do what is required if you want the job.

you may luck out and find a local company that has insurance that will take you, but I doubt it. there are thousands of seasoned drivers out there that are willing and able to jump in a seat! "second seat" is about the only way you'll get on board-and be prepared, they usually require 30 days/so many miles before... More

My husband only had to drive 2 weeks with his well and impress your trainer and you'll be able to get rid of them quicker =) I have never heard of a company that will let you drive alone right away without any experience.
